Pittsburgh day 1

I'm in Pittsburgh for the first of a three day work-related semi-training, semi-discussion meeting. I only remember being in Pitt once before, and I really don't remember it being as nice a city as it has been this trip. A wonderful combination of architecture, from the old churches to the decaying wharf district, to Duquesne U, it is a fabulous mix of styles! The only bad part is being so close to Kennywood, and not getting a chance to play. Sigh. Nice hotel room, though. King size bed, nice TV, computer hookup, wheeee! Dinner at a place called Lidia's was very nice. Slightly ritzy Italian food. No, I do not mean pizza. Sheesh!
