Apple introduces iPhone

javasaurusNew iPhone made official, stock jumps nearly 10%. Check out the iPhone. Mostly, it's not much more than what's been done before. Combination cell phone, iPod, and web browser. But the iPod has LOTS of memory, the cell phone is supposed to be cutting edge, and the web browswer is nearly desktop quality, not dumbed down for the smaller screen. (To make up for the image size, you can zoom in and move around, like with a pdf). Combine all this with Apples rep for quality, and you've got a nice product. At least investors think so.
Of course, who would pay nearly $600 for a phone? Well, I guess, Blackberry units are about the same, as are PS3s, so somebody out there has money to burn.
