We're mostly still using Win 3.1. Just kidding. Mostly 2000 or XP, depending on age of the machine. We're aware of the time change problem (you can tell your machine that you're in a different time zone for a few weeks as a cheap fix).
As for the thumb drive idea, can't do that either. Oddly, though, I can write and run C++ or VB programs. For some reason that doesn't violate the no install, no download rules.
