Intended for facial burn victims and other similar face disfiguration victims, face transplants may be the next thing in cosmetic surgery. Lots of psychological issues that don't normally come up with transplants -- e.g., the donor's family would be warned that the recipient would not look like their deceased loved one.

Ya might wanna fill your tank tonight

According to WTOPnews.com, oil futures rose $4 per barrel in anticipation of Hurricane Rita, and (if I'm interpretting this correctly) wholesale gas prices (before distribution, taxes, and other markup) rose 26 cents/gallon. I presume that will be reflected by an even bigger jump at the pumps within the next 24 hours.

Of course, only time will tell, but I think I'll top off the tank tonight.
