Give that cop a ticket!
A convoy of officers from NJ went to aid down south after the hurricanes. On their way home they were stopped by Virginia cops because they were exceeding 95mph and flashing their emergency lights to force other drivers out of their way.
The Virginia deputy basically asked them to slow down, and as a professional nicety didn't ticket them. Now a NJ sheriff's office is harshly criticizing the Va deputy for making the stop.

I too am ticked at the Va deputy. He should have ticketed the lot of them. I don't care if they were returning home from Katrina. They were a menace to other drivers, and showed blatant disregard for the laws they are sworn to uphold. You better believe that civilians who went south would not have received the same courtesy.
