Immigrant rallies

As you are probably aware, today is Day Without Immigrants, a national walkout/protest by immigrants to demonstrate how important a role they play in the nation's productivity and economy.

I'm not asking if you think the walkout is good/bad. Rather, think about the nature of immigration in this country -- both legal and illegal. What are the problems, and what would you do to fix the problems?

It's been almost two weeks! I hope all is going well with the new wee one. The pix from day one looked really cute, but she's probably twice as big (and twice as cute!) now. Update?
