As the US government continues to post information on American soldiers killed in Iraq, they also continue to ignore the number of civilians killed. According to IraqBodyCount, the number is approaching 60,000 non-combatants killed since America invaded. If I understand it correctly, that only includes confirmed non-combatant deaths. I don't know if anybody has a tally of Iraqi military killed in the initial portion of the war, and the number of terrorist and other combatant casualties, or the number of ally deaths.

Also, I don't think this number has been adjusted for today's U.N. report that 34,000 civilians were killed in 2006, nearly three times the number previously reported by the Iraqi government.
