Mentos discontinued? Whine!

I was at Giant for lunch today, and noticed as I checked out, that Mentos were listed as 1/2 price, discontinued item! Whaaaaaa!

The great thing about mentos (other than the fact that they are way too addictive) is that you can substitute the white ones for go stones, and eat any that you capture. Very amusing if you don't warn your opponent first.

Something that I found with Giant and "discontinued items"... It doesn't mean that the item itself is discontinued, it means that the Giant has discontinued it. As in, the Giant won't sell them anymore because they just weren't selling fast enough. And it's THAT particular Giant.

Yeah, I almost went ape when they discontinued one of my favorite conditioners... Until I found out the Safeway was still carrying it.

And I would be highly irritated if you suddenly ate my go-stones. *smirk*
