Good site for LotR details

Here is the LotR Scrapbook page which includes a very nice list of details you might have missed in the first two movies. This includes some continuity errors as well as some very nice details. Among others, it points out that if you watch carefully in the first movie, Gimli does take an axe from his comrade after breaking his on the ring.

If his comrade is the older, grey-haired dwarf, then its not a comrade as such. its his father, Gloin, who was one of bilbo's original 13. thus, it would make perfect sense for him to get a new axe from his father if he was going to volunteer on a mission of such import.
