Taxes or slots?

A new bill proposed by Maryland Democrats would increase sales tax to 6%, raise income tax for singles making 150k, marrieds making (jointly) 200k, and lower property taxes. Net for most people would be less than $100 extra per year. The republicans, of course, still want their slots.
