The new pope will be Pope Benedict XVI, formerly Cardinal Joeseph Ratzinger from Germany.

(That name seems familiar -- wasn't he Cliff Clavin in Cheers?)

lol! I think that was John Ratzinger. I have to say I'm surprised about this choice. I was pretty sure it was going to be a South/Latin American.
