What we really need at the Ren Fest is an easier way to get from one end of the site to another. Sometimes ya gotta get from the Joust Field to the Globe Theatre in under three minutes. I've got just the solution! The CP2000, a true Renaissance device that could be used for getting actors where they need to be, when they need to be there! We could even have a couple emergency CP2000s at strategic locations, permanently aimed at First Aid!
CP2000 FAQ
1) What would the cost be for the CP2000? By using natural products from around site, the only costs would be labor, and I'm sure people would love to volunteer!
2) How big is the CP2000? About 20 to 30 feet per side, squared. Actual size depends on the strength of the natural materials used.
3) Would patrons be able to use the CP2000? Hmmm...perhaps. We could charge $5!
4) The actors are supposed to entertain people while travelling from site to site. If the CP2000 provides such rapid transport, wouldn't the actors be neglecting their duties by using it? Trust me, they'd be entertaining patrons if they use it!
5) What does CP2000 mean, anyway? Why, catapult, range 2000 feet, of course!
