Bionic Woman, revisited?

David Eick, the producer of the Battlestar Galactica remake, is considering remaking The Bionic Woman. Minimal details at SciFi.com.

The old show (and The Six-Million Dollar Man as well) ignored certain ideas of physics and biology. Even if her legs and right arm could lift the three-ton truck, her oh-so-human back would be crushed! And when she rips a phone book in half, how is she using her normal arm to provide that much leverage?

that was why it was always done in slow motion so they wouldn't hurt themselves. flip a truck too fast, they could end up in the hospital for months! *g*
