Weight Loss Week 12

Well, I seem to have really reached a plateau. Still hovering over 230, at 231. Not worried about this yet, but I would like to hit 220 by Winter Solstice.

Interesting article on beauty pageant. Normally I ignore them, but this article caught my eye. I mean, my attention.

Interesting that while some see beauty pageants as a degrading marketing objectifying women as something at which to stare, in this case, it really is a push towards equality, not the opposite.

Where is everybody?

Okay, here I am at work, and yes it's 3:48 in the morning. Well, 2:48. Need to set my clock. Need more caffiene. Got a project due by Monday morning, and it's been keeping me up late at night for several nights over the last two weeks. Last night I got home at 6am, and tonight won't be any different. At least I'm finally near the end of it, and it will be done on time. But I'm so freakin' tired. I'll be presenting my work as a poster at a science forum in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, and the plane leaves Monday morning. Very tired. I think I might be rambling. Need more coffee. Mmmmm....who needs sleep?

So where is everybody? Nobody posting on LJ at (almost) 4 in the morning? Oooops. I mean almost 3?
