High rise hit by small aircraft in New York.
News from New York: A helicopter or small plane has crashed into a high-rise building. It is unknown at this time if it was terrorist-related, and injuries/deaths have not yet been reported. The building is a hospital on the lower 20 floors, million-dollar apartments for the upper floors. Three floors near the top are on fire. Check the news for more (and more accurate) details.
Update on New York small plane crash
Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle has been reported killed when his private plane suddenly swerved into the Belaire, a 50-story high-rise in Manhatten. Three others, in the building, were also killed in the crash.
