Okay, here I am at work, and yes it's 3:48 in the morning. Well, 2:48. Need to set my clock. Need more caffiene. Got a project due by Monday morning, and it's been keeping me up late at night for several nights over the last two weeks. Last night I got home at 6am, and tonight won't be any different. At least I'm finally near the end of it, and it will be done on time. But I'm so freakin' tired. I'll be presenting my work as a poster at a science forum in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, and the plane leaves Monday morning. Very tired. I think I might be rambling. Need more coffee. Mmmmm....who needs sleep?

So where is everybody? Nobody posting on LJ at (almost) 4 in the morning? Oooops. I mean almost 3?

sigh.

For those who are interested. Java got home at around 3:30pm on Sunday (post time change), was up until after midnight (I think I went to sleep at around 12:10am), was up again at 5:30am today (Monday) and is currently at DCA (aka National airport) awaiting his flight out. Yes, he did make it to National on time (and was awake enough to do the subway transfers).≠

I'm glad he made it home & to the airport safely; I was kinda wondering, based on how exhausted he was sounding. *snugs*

Well, that is why I went to bed at midnight ... that way I could be awake enough to drive at 5:40am in case we were able to get going that early.

I also told him on Sunday that if he was too tired to drive home from work safely, I would drive to pick him up.

Somehow I suspect that he will sleep very soundly tonight, no matter how hopping the hotel might be.
