PHB gets a degree (Dilbert)

javasaurusToday's Dilbert page-a-day is a classic example of why Scott Adams should only write two panels, not three -- so often the joke is in the second panel and the third explains it to any audience members who just don't get it. Anyway, this one was haunting, because I can imagine my boss doing this.
PHB approaches Asok. "I enrolled in a distance learning class to get my master's degree."
Asok: "uh-oh."
PHB grins at Asok, rubbing hands together.
Asok, panicked: "GAAA! GAAA! GAAA!"
later...PHB visits Catbert
Catbert: "Is the online degree hard?"
PHB (standing there with coffee): "Not so much. I'm taking my midterm exam as we speak."
