germinating!

I just had a nice little granny smith apple. Tart and Tasty! Oddly, one of the seeds had somehow migrated into the flesh of the apple, and had germinated a little. A one centimeter sprout winding its way out of the seed.

How dear. I suppose you ate the sprout to help satisfy the veggie requirement and the apple for the fruit. Very efficient!
