stupid cats. why do they have to be so darn lovable anyway? *sigh* even when they're being mean and cranky-puss faces, they're lovable. in fact, the crabby cat he's talking about is written so much like Azrael and some day i know it will be her turn. i know i shouldn't think about such things before it's time, but i do.

Yes, I saw it, and I think about it whenever I read the strip now. Somehow, it makes the strip a little less humorous, and a little more meaningful.
