We got a Wii!!

The controls are taking a little getting used to. Very sensitive response. Still, the tennis game and the bowling game on Wii Sports was very satisfying. And while blueeowyn is much better than I at target shooting, I defeated her rather thoroughly at the pool table.

Cool! I loved playing with the one my parents got for Christmas. I was so tempted to get one for us! The Super Mario game is cool - you actually move the controller to move the character - bounce it up to jump, tilt it to tilt a bar, etc.

We don't have that game, we have played 2 games (that we were given) and will open the other tomorrow. Today we picked up a couple of games. We've seen the SuperMario but haven't played it. Unfortunately, we only have one day left of fairly free time and we have some stuff we need to get done (like soupify the turkey I roasted yesterday).

I would suspect you have hooked it up to the giant TV in the family room. That should make the games feel almost overpoweringly real. Enjoy. Hint, hint, are you going to be out of town soon so I can play with it?
