This is the Ren Fest
It’s not just fantasy
Wearing great costumes
Our escape from reality
Must get some lines
Look at my script and see

Mama, just stabbed a man,
Put a sword against his chest,
Lunged, it went right through his vest.

And now I’ve got to do a Shakespeare play

When I come back again this time tomorrow

On stage, my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine
Wish I had some lines to rhyme,

The director put me upstage of a post

Come and watch me die!
Gotta change costume before the curtain call

I see a little silhouetto of a man,

Commedia dell’Arte is very very frightening me

I think I worship you now. :D The only part that didn't flow for me was "I get no lines to say/Because I'm easy come, easy go", and that may just be because I don't know the song as well as I think I do.

That was worth hunting for! (BE mentioned it, I didn't see it on my Friends list, therefore I went hunting.)
