Federal excused late arrival policy
Grrr...Basically, I should've stopped for a bagel and coffee. This really irks me since I'm already donating (not willingly) a second federal holiday in less than a year to go to a training course. Heh, "irked" should be an LJ mood.
Today's DC area federal employee announcement, based on inclement weather:
Agencies will open on time. Employees should arrive to work consistent with the announcement. Employees who arrive TWO hours late will be excused without loss of pay or charge to leave for those hours.
Those employees who arrive more than TWO hours later will be charged leave for the time beyond the TWO hours.
Those employees who arrive to work at their normal time or less than TWO hours late may not use the given time at the end of the day or any other time during the day.
"Emergency Employees" are expected to report for work on time.

well, duh!
Employees who are working at home today are not covered by the delayed arrival policy since they are already there.
