Today's Peanuts page-a-day calendar:

Marcie and Linus are at the wall.
Marcie: Halloween is almost here, isn't it? I suppose you'll be waiting for the "great grape" to come again, huh?
Linus: Pumpkin!
Marcie: Oh, sorry..I guess it would be hard to carve a scary face on a grape, wouldn't it?
Linus I can't stand it!

Y'know that the Charlie Brown Halloween show's on tonight, yes?? (Tuesday... it's after midnight, and yes I'm still trying to finish my homework that's due tomorrow... sigh...).

I didn't know. Darn it. And the VCR is already set to record something else (besides which neither of us will be home at a reasonable hour tonight).

You can imagine why I thought of "Fitzy" when I read the cartoon yesterday morning. Snicker.i
