I hate being sick...

I'm sick. One nephew, my father, one sister, my mother, and my wife. All sick. Nothing terribly debilitating, but really, really annoying. Mild headache, congestion, very sore throat and hoarseness, coughing. Definitely some kind of respiratory blah. No fever. I think the cats are laughing at us.

It's been going on for four days now, and I'll call the doc on Monday if it doesn't let up. The worst part is that we didn't visit anybody for New Year's celebrations.

I'm not asking for pity, and for goodness' sake, don't hug me! You'll end up getting sick too! I just need to get to the doc and get medicated.

Bleh.. We're all getting sick these days, it seems. Even my family was battling a variety of cold-like symptoms, it seems. I'm just glad that I came away from it with nothing more than a little sniffle-issue!

3 colds last month... one started this month (courtesy of wherever Eliana picked it up, I think). I'm just thankful that the rest of the family's been a bit more healthy than me... and that classes (at least) don't start until almost the end of the month.

By then I should have caught most of the colds running around Howard County (so it seems), and will be up to dealing with whatever gets brought in by Montgomery, Carroll, Frederick and down from PA during classes...
